Advantages:
-free on-line checking, bill paying
-website looks better than Glenview’s (even if Glenview’s is a bit more intuitive)
-affiliated with many other banks in the Chicago suburbs—this means over 50 free ATMS to use
Disadvantages:
-only one ATM location in Northfield
Glenview State Bank
Advantages:
-on-line chat with a banker
-great hours for a teller: 7am-7pm
Disadvantages:
-6 ATMS. That’s it. At two dollars per use of an alternate bank’s ATM, this isn’t just inconvenient, it’s costly too.
Decision: Northview Bank and Trust
With deposit interest rates for standard savings account yielding higher for Northview Bank and Trust, they’re the best overall.
